Comau + SOLICAD for Beneš and Lát (case067)
A finishing robotic workplace with the Comau NJ-110 robot is designed for cutting of aluminum overflows of SCANIA castings.
Our approach
An interchangeable gripping system enables quick production change for another product. The robotic workplace is equipped with stationary machining tools (1 grinding wheel, 2 rotary cutting tools).
Robotic trajectories were programmed in the SprutCAM offline CAM program with a postprocessor trajectory for Comau robots. Offline programming in SprutCAM has significantly reduced workplace start-up time and optimized robot movement corrections during the milling process.
360° automatic processing solution
The loading conveyor transports the semi-product under the camera system, and the system sends the part coordinates for gripping to the robot.
After gripping the part, the robot executes the pre-programmed clipping trajectories.
Upon completion of the robot trajectories, the part is placed on an outgoing conveyor for subsequent processing.
The robotic workplace is equipped with a remote management system for online technical support and non-standard workplace status solutions.
